<description>I've been told my 1977 Austin Mini Cooper with VIN number: XL2S1N439282A may not be a 1977 but a 1985. How do I tell? I need to purchase parts and am not sure if I should get 77 or 85 parts (specifically a CV boot Who can help identify the right year?

Thanks for any information at all.
